As an Accreditation Coordinator you will collaborate with Directors, Executive Leaders and Managers of the Organization to ensure and maintain adherence to the Joint Commission standards, Accreditations designations, and or Licensure of the Gwinnett Hospital System. This position facilitates methods to evaluate and maintain continuous readiness for accreditation and regulatory surveys. In addition this position allows you to bring your expertise to the position while performing as a Resource person in matters related to Joint Commission and similar accreditation/licensures.

Requires a Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited College or University. A minimum of at least three (3) years work experience in a Clinical position within a Joint Commission Accredited Hospital or Similar Healthcare Organization. Two (2) years Healthcare Accreditation, Regulatory and Certification experience is Required. Excellent organizational, oral and Written communication skills Problem Solving and Team Building skills are necessary. Must be proficient in Program Development , Management, Techniques and Methods. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft applications to include Word, Excel, and Power Point. Ability to work with a variety of disciplines and levels of staff across Departments and the Hospital System.
