RESPONSIBLE FOR:& Unit-based and shift-specific managerial and clinical activities

QUALIFICATIONS: Current licensure in the state of Georgia. Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS and/or ENPC required. CEN and TNCC preferred. National certification in specialty field preferred. Minimum of three years preferred of nursing experience in unit-specific clinical practice, with demonstrated clinical competence, leadership qualities, management skills, and effective written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of current nursing trends, clinical practices, legal issues and technology for specialty areas of nursing, and is able to demonstrate initiative and independent judgment. Recognizes the importance of being a role model for peers and subordinates. Is able to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks.
