- 5 years experience required The Nurse Manager of the Emergency Department is a Registered Nurse who assumes 24-hour responsibility for the operation of the Emergency Department and the personnel who are assigned to this area. This individual has extensive clinical knowledge and skills and an in depth knowledge of health care environment management and takes the responsibility for the development of self. This position includes accountability for maintaining high standards of patient care and nursing practice and outstanding customer service. This individual is knowledgeable regarding JCAHO and other regulatory standards related to patient care. The ED Nurse Manager is committed to Performance Improvement and the development and empowering of staff—this includes clinical development and behavioral expectations as well.

Current Georgia Registered Nurse, BSN preferred. Two years clinical experience in Emergency Department in acute care setting. Previous management experience in healthcare setting. Effective presentation skills.
