Very Stable Company Looking for a Senior Project Manager!

Senior Project Manager opportunity available on a Contract to Permanent basis! Are you an expert in the discipline and processes required to motivate teams, make projects more effective, and deliver projects successfully? Do you have experience project managing multiple large complex projects concurrently? If yes, consider this opportunity! This position focuses on owning and delivering high visibility projects that support Business Development, Product Development and Operations. A large part of the projects this group manages involve Change Implementation (i.e. change management, new processes, products, etc.). Responsibilities include: Author and manage project plans inclusive of clarifying business benefits. Stakeholder engagement. Scoping and estimating. Project resource coordination. Budget management. Drive cross-functional team deliverables and schedules. Hit target milestones. Manage assigned projects according to plan, risk and issue management. Collaborate closely with stakeholders during the complete project life cycle. Some rare travel may be required.

Required Experience
* Must have project managed multiple concurrent projects and large projects [involving multiple departments, more than 25 people providing some level of support - not full time but with key deliverables - and over 1,000 development hours].
* Client facing experience, working with external clients (in person, phone, conf. calls).
* Results-oriented, detail-driven Project Manager with 5-8 years of project management experience
* Expertise in developing detailed plans for complex projects involving challenging requirements, limited resources, and fixed deadlines
* Expertise in developing financial/work estimates and of budget tracking
* A proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Demonstrated skills in requirements gathering and a preference to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, energetic environment
* Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
* Preferred (but not required) experience includes: background in consulting, financial services, managing SDLC projects, and mentoring Junior PMs
