Local job boards merge to provide comprehensive employment services in Houston.

Houston, Texas  - April 5, 2006 – Jobing.com, LLC, the nation’s largest locally focused employment website, announced today the finalization of its acquisition of Houston, Texas-based HoustonEmployment.com, the leading local employment site in the Houston metropolitan area.   Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.  The acquisition and integration of HoustonEmployment.com into the Jobing.com family is the first of several planned expansions for the local job board into major cities throughout the State of Texas.

The HoustonEmployment.com website will be redesigned over the course of the next several weeks to include functional product enhancements and upgrades serving both employers and job seekers.  A formal announcement regarding product transitions will be announced in the coming weeks.
