Blog Post: Standing Out from the Crowd

I was speaking with a friend who has recently found themselves looking for a new job, and was asked what I would do if I knew of the perfect company to work for - and wanted to get the recruiter to take notice of me. As a somewhat outgoing and risk taking type of a person, I would send that recruiter a very customized introduction letter that stands out from the crowd of other emails she/he gets, and follow it up with a phone call the next day asking for an interview. I love to see initiative, and if someone really believes that they belong in our company, and can make a big impact --- I want to know about it! So - if you are reading this, and think "I am perfect for …… company" then find your own special way to stand out from the crowd and get your message to the recruiter for your perfect role today.
