- 5 years experience required The Surgical Services Clinical Educator Specialist (CES) is a self-directed Registered Nurse (RN) who serves in a multifaceted role to provide clinical expertise within the Surgical/Invasive Care Service Line in all facilities of Tanner Health System. The Surgical Services Clinical Educator Specialist functions in the roles of clinician, clinical educator, researcher, development of staff and program coordinator. Establishes goals, objectives and priorities in accordance with patient/family needs, staff needs, and organizational and departmental objectives. The Surgical Services CES works with patients/significant others, physicians and staff to share knowledge and clinical expertise. The Surgical CES assists staff in their individual professional development. The Surgical CES functions autonomously and collaboratively to improve and expand the patient care capabilities of the health system.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia BCLS certified Minimum 5 years experience in perioperative nursing
