Job: Video Editor

The Video Editor is responsible for completing job orders (30 second ads) as assigned by Account Executives and/or Lead Editor. Works in such applications as Final Cut Studio, Adobe CS3, and Sorenson squeeze. Also assists with capturing new footage as well as going to tape on completed spots. The Video Editor may also be required to assist with video production tasks such as, assisting the Videographer on location or in the studio including light design, audio recording, and talent direction.

Requirements:
Must be highly motivated and a team player
Motion proficiency. (understanding of keyframes, behaviors, filters and compositing)
Basic understanding of Final Cut Pro (Basic editing, ability of capturing footage as well as exporting)
Basic understanding of DVD Studio Pro
Basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop (ability of editing photos for use on TV)
Basic understanding of Video compression and encoding.
Basic to intermediate experience shooting & lighting in studio and on location.
