Website Designer Intern

This position is for an entry-level web designer with 1 to 2 years of web design experience or an individual with a degree in a web design or web development. This position works with the

Senior Web Designers and Design Management team to design and implement new site features and enhancements, as well as custom creative units for advertisers.

Functions:

Maintain and design basic web sites
Prepare the illustrative materials from artists and vendors
Ensure that all design elements, templates and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings along with the constraints set by development and design
Provide design elements, templates, and finished solutions
Participate in efforts to improve quality of web sites as required
Ability to coordinate with internal and external groups

Salary:

Pay range $30,000 - $32,500

Skills:

A passion for excellent design and user experience
Strong knowledge of CSS, HTML and Photoshop
1-3 years experience in web design or an individual with a certification/degree in web design or web development
Exposure to JavaScript
A good understanding of relevant design software including Adobe Creative Suite, Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop and other related applications


Salary:

Pay range $30,000 - $32,500
