This position is responsible for providing analytical support for the investment budget for the att.com Organization. Primary duties include gathering, interpreting, and evaluating financial information to support the effective management of the budget. This position will be the subject matter expert for software capitalization for eCommerce Delivery Projects; provide management with a monthly overview of capital spending against budgets; and prepare and review forecasts monthly in order to analyze trends affecting budget needs and variance explanations. Other related activities will be to oversee the integrity and related controls in place over the financial data, reconciliation of account balances, and research of accounting issues.

* Prepares monthly financial management reporting, operating statistics and analysis

* Provides financial tracking for projects funded by capital projects

* Prepare journal entries and accruals

* Ensures financial records are in compliance with Accounting Policies and Guidelines

* Contributes to the preparation of presentations for senior management

* Ability to work independently and to interface with all levels of the organization

* Ability to proactively establish processes and controls to meet objectives

* Sound judgment and adaptability

* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

* Strong analytical and problem solving background

* Must be able to demonstrate strong Excel and database skills

* Experience with software development capitalization processes and guidelines is preferred
