Jobing Description
Department: Emergency
Schedule: Full time (more than 30 hrs. per week)
Shift: 2nd/Evenings
Hours: 5p-1a. Hours may vary. Must be able to work weekends.

Job Details:

- High School Diploma or GED
- Customer service skills are required Greets and directs customers entering through the Emergency Department. Offer direction and escorts customers to various areas of the hospital. Having wheelchairs accessible for Emergency Department patients. Assisting with answering telephones and directs calls with direction of triage staff. Assists triage in stocking area with supplies needed for patient care. Should be able to handle potentiallly volatile situations calmly, skillfully, and with diplomacy.

Skills / Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent communication/interpersonal skills. Capable of functioning effectively during high volume times. Ability to problem solve and to prioritize tasks independently. Ability to work effectively in high stress situations. Pleasant professional demeanor when dealing with public even irate/abusive individuals.
