Design and develop C#.NET applications!

Well-established insurance distribution company in East Atlanta is looking to hire a C#/.NET Software Engineer for their technology group. The Software Engineer in this position will use a unique combination of skills and tools developing enhancements to existing software and maintaining legacy systems. In addition, this person will perform product design, bug verification, release testing, and beta support on applications software projects which may require research and analysis. May assist in performing on-site client work. Perform design, implementation and maintenance of single product modules/sub-systems or on lower level issues of multiple products. Participate on development of enhancements of existing software. In addition to .NET development you will work on Delphi projects. Prepare technical documentation. Conduct unit testing and integration testing for functionality. Research and understand the marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues. Required Experience
* 2-5 years of experience in product design or product support
* Experience with C#, .NET, SQL, XML, Windows Forms, OOP/OOD, and UML.
* Ideal applicant will have knowledge of legacy systems, specifically Delphi.
* Knowledge of software development methodologies, design and implementation. General understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance.
* Skills in research, project planning and implementation.
* General awareness of business issues as they impact overall project plans.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
