Our client is seeking an Infrastructure Technical Architect as part of the Technology Planning Group to provide technology planning, strategy, direction and design choices available to address the business requirements. As the Technical Architect, you will be part of the Technology Planning Group and responsible for the technology planning, strategy, direction and design choices available to address the business and nonfunctional requirements. The focus of the architect position is to provide subject matter expertise from hardware stack up through third party product/application stack (hardware, operating system, storage, network and application layer centric). This role will work with the various customers and vendors to provide fit-for-purpose solutions. This includes the guidance, support and advice in the implementation and deployment for any new or existing product developments. Qualified candidates will have experience in server platforms, operating systems, storage area networks, load balancing, cluster solutions, security and networking for this position. Preferred experience includes previous data center operational/engineering or enterprise architecture. Long term contract, possible full time employment. Location Cumberland. Multiple Openings!

Required Experience
* 5 to 7 years of consultative/managerial experience in planning, evaluating, designing and implementing infrastructure solutions
* At least 2-4 years of experience in enterprise architecture, systems integration, package implementation, and/or interactive design, and architecture experience
* Previous experience in data center operational/engineering or enterprise architecture roles
