A leading provider of technical managed services and content is currently seeking a Senior Systems Engineer Application Support Specialist. This company is looking for a Senior Engineer with a minimum of 7 to 9 years of solid application support experience. For this role, you will be apart of an international team of individuals. You will support all systems inclusive applications including JBoss and WebLogic, running on Solaris and Linux, backed by Oracle databases with storage on Hitachi SANS. Skills needed for this role include strong history of application support within a Java environment, experience with storage platform such as SAM, and strong load balancing and clustering skills. You will also need working knowledge of protocols such as JDBC, XML, LDAP, SQL and IP Enterprise SAN. Other desired skills are experience with virtualization, MySQL, performance tuning and working knowledge of J2ME and SMPP. You must have excellent problem solving and decision making skills as well as excellent oral and written communication.
