Athens Regional Medical Center is currently seeking a Medical Technologist I

Summary
Qualified to perform testing in one to three general areas of the laboratory. appropriately
processes blood and body fluid specimens. works independently performing laboratory procedures
in the various areas of the laboratory. provides patient care for patients ages newborn and up.
participates in the training of new employees and students.

Hours
Full Time Mon-Fri, every third weekend, 1330-2200 or 1430-2300 40 hours

Experience
Clinical experience gained in training program of medical technology school, or four years
experience plus hhs or hew.

Education
Associates degree

Licensure
ascp, amt, nca, aab, hhs or hew with four years experience. is eligible or has passed 1-3 parts of
the ascp, amt, nca, aab examinations.
