Responsibilities:
Support and participate in the implementation of Revenue Cycle applications (Patient Accounting, Patient Access, Decision Support, Scheduling, Billing, etc.) This position will function as the liaison between IT and end users during the Eclipsys Revenue Cycle project. Assist in formulating and defining system scope and objectives through research and fact finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Investigates solutions to issues and presents recommendations to management. Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and provides documentation as necessary. Considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering application functionality and limitations.

In addition to all other qualifications below, the successful candidate will have at least 2+ years of prior functional/operating experience within a healthcare Patient Accounts/Business Office setting and experience with Patient Access/Business Office implementations/conversions in a healthcare setting. Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems, Math, Finance/Business or other relevant area and 2+ years of relevant applications experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Note: Includes experience in and understanding of logistics, workflow, business operations and a software application in one or more of the following: Patient Access, and Patient Financials / Revenue Cycle, Patient Scheduling, Decision Support, Contract Management, and Claims Management.-Prior experience with an enterprise wide system (Invision, Eclipsys, Lawson, PeopleSoft, SAP, etc) is required.-Prior Experience with Crystal Reports and Excel is required.-Prior small to large scale project management experience is preferred-At least 2 years "functional" experience in related business discipline is required Preferred Qualifications:4+ years of "functional" business experience in relevant discipline. Prior experience with healthcare conversions/implementations within multiple applications and disciplines. Prior experience with INVISION, Eclipsys SCM, Eclipsys Patient Access, Eclipsys Patient Financials, EPSI, Siemens Decision Support, Tempus, Crystal Enterprise, Tempus
