Excellent opportunity for the A Player - Systems Engineer. In this role you will be part of a team responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, migration, and extending the software development lifecycle (SDLC) tool set. The primary responsibility for this individual will be implementing and supporting the SDLC applications and tools while simultaneously working on a variety of other projects, applying standards, and troubleshooting issues. This position requires day and evening work hours and reports to the Manager of Systems Engineering and Design. In this role you will perform rapid prototyping/POC to find best methods and quickly turnaround dependable solutions (OS and application configuration), Implement and enforce development best practices. Create automation systems to replace manual processes and tasks and Support and interact with a wide range of developers and code bases. Immediate need. Awesome benefits, top notch peer group.

Required Experience
* 4+ years change management or development experience
* Intermediate knowledge of UNIX (Linux, Solaris, and/or AIX) with the ability to construct shell scripts, read and analyze existing scripts
* Understand basic operating system permissions and groups
* Intermediate knowledge of Java including ability to implement new or extend existing Java classes, working knowledge of J2EE app development, deployment, and basic trouble shooting of standard application servers such as WebLogic, Tomcat, JBoss or WebSphere
* Web application development (event driven systems)
* Deep knowledge of several of the following: Maven, Mercurial, Hudson, Starteam, Ruby, Perl, c/c++, XML, Revision Management, Spring, Continuous Integration
* Experience creating and/or maintaining RPMs and/or SVR4 packages
