Coordinating nursing staffing during the evening, night, weekend and holiday shifts in accordance with Piedmont Fayette Hospital's plan for the Provision of Care, Standards of Care and Standards of Performance. Acts in absence of hospital Department Management to facilitate needs. Responsible for the efficient and effective operations for all nursing areas. Ensures that appropriate staff, supplies and equipment are available to meet the needs of all nursing units and are utilized in a cost-effective manner. Works under the direction of the Administrator on-call to determine the activation of the disaster plan and coordinates related activities. RN preferred.
