Complete Description:
Bachelor or associates' degree in nutrition or hospitality services preferred; will consider equivalent experience with diets (indicated by CDM certification and CBord diet office experience). One year of customer service, hospitality and/or prior experience in a hospital diet office setting. Excellent reasoning, organizational and time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with computers. Working knowledge of Microsoft word essential. Instructs patients on meal ordering system. Determines patients' ability to utilize menus; assists patients in placing orders. Provides review of diet basics related to personalized patient menus. Communicates with call center staff.
