Job Summary
The PM/CM Division of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Program Manager/Director for immediate employment in the Atlanta, GA office. The Program Manager/Director for the K-12 CIP Bond Construction Program will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of all the program, program staff, projects, studies, initiatives and deliverable's assigned to the AECOM Program Management Team.

The Program Manager/Director will ensure contract requirements are executed at a level equal to or higher than stated standards and shall strive for complete customer satisfaction with all customers. The Program Manager will also establish and maintain effective customer relationships with the goal of maintaining a mutually beneficial business relationship with the District. This will include direct, day-to-day interaction with the client and other related stakeholders.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Manages more complex construction projects that tend to be larger in scope and dollar, thereby increasing the potential for larger change orders and consequences of error.
  • May act independently as the IE representative with consulting firms and ensures that the final product reflects the original scope and budget requirements.
  • Manages projects which have greater complexity than a Program Manager III.
  • Increasing responsibility for leadership of direct reports.

Minimum Requirements
  • BA / BS
  • 10+ Years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education


Preferred Qualifications
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Prior K12 Construction Program Management experience
  • CCM Certification
  • Industry recognized certification in Program Management or Facility Management 
  • Progressive Experience in construction design and development, preferably K-12, of which shall include five (5) years of experience of direct management of project managers/ project delivery/ project delivery/ project controls and reporting
  • Possess highly developed interpersonal, analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage in a diverse and dynamic environment with short-notice tasking under high pressure situations
  • Bachelor's Degree in Management, Engineering, or other related field
  • 10+ years of experience managing all aspects of building operations on contracts of similar size and scope
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
  • This position requires a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening
