Tuesday - Thursday (24 hours per week)  

POSITION SUMMARY
Buffalo Rock is an award-winning Pepsi-Cola Bottler founded in Birmingham, AL, more than 100 years ago. The Maintenance Technician is a key member of the Division Support team responsible for performing any required installation, repair, and maintenance needed to keep the physical condition of both the inside and outside of all Divisional buildings and to all Divisional equipment to a level that normal day-to-day operations can be performed in a safe and secure work environment.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
Remodel offices as needed to include but not limited to; painting, drywall patches, etc. 
Moving and installing office equipment.  
Replacing ceiling tiles and or overhead lights as needed. 
Must be able to work from ladders, scaffolds or lifts to perform job duties.  
Perform all work using all Safety measures required to protect you, other employees, and the facilities from harm. 
Responsible for general housekeeping functions within the warehouse, offices and grounds. 
Perform scheduled inspections to all divisional buildings, both inside and outside to determine repair and or replacement needs. 
Communicate any needed repairs or replacement concerning buildings or operations equipment to the Operations Manager. 
Communicate daily with the Operations manager as to the status of all divisional buildings and operations equipment as it relates to on-going repair or replacement projects. 
Adhere to customer policies for vendors or suppliers, which may include but is not limited to business conduct policies, business ethics policies, legal policies, and delivery and merchandising policies. 
Responsible for wearing all assigned safety equipment and observing safety rules. 
Required to complete other activities assigned by supervisor. 
Responsible for continuous self-improvement through the knowledge and use of all Company and Division provided training, either web-based, in-house, or any other Company provided method. (Must successfully complete quarterly training curriculum, including but not limited to web-based and facilitated training.)

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Experience:
Must be experienced and knowledgeable with but not limited to the use of all varieties of tools, a working knowledge of electricity, and experience in plumbing, painting, sanding, welding, sheet rock and wood work. Must be able to operate heavy machinery. Should be a detailed oriented person with the ability to set and meet project deadlines. Should be personable and positive.
