As the Product Manager you will support, develop, and execute the Omnicare clinical interoperability roadmap that will deliver clinical data exchange capabilities between Omnicare, hospitals and post-acute and senior care providers and enable products and services providing improved care transitions between provider settings. You will drive the product life cycle in collaboration with key stakeholders from strategic vision to tactical implementation. Along with executing the strategy you will be responsible for maintaining and grooming a product backlog, monitoring product performance, resolving production support issues and contributing to the go-to-market plan.
- Support the development of new capabilities and implementation of products that align to the vision, strategy, road map and supporting metrics required to deliver best-in-class transitions between care settings and exchange of clinical data
- Work closely with business stakeholders and customers on the scoping and definition for new clinical data exchange concepts including business case, product specifications and prototyping
- Own the product backlog and groom it by defining and prioritizing enhancements based on business and customer impact
- Establish clear goals and objectives for the product(s) and develop KPIs that will clearly indicate the progress towards those goals and business outcomes
- Conduct appropriate business testing of products and capabilities prior to launch
- Conduct product and competitive research as well as monitor industry trends and emerging technologies
- Work closely with engineering, pharmacy operations, legal, marketing, clinical, customer service, public relations, and executive teams to bring capabilities and products to market and optimize business opportunities.
- Collaborate with project management, technical and business stakeholders to triage, research and resolve production support issues when required
- Work with marketing, digital adoption team, sales and account management to maintain accurate product documentation, guides and supporting materials
- Develop a high performing team and coach/develop direct reports through regular 1-on-1 meetings, feedback and goal setting

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in product management
- Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and clinical interoperability/data exchange

Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with health data standards (HL7 CDA, HL7 Messaging, FHIR, NCPDP Script)
- Understanding of healthcare, pharmacy and long term care operations
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Excellent presentation, communication, time management and listening skills
- Ability to quickly understand complex technical workflows

Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering, business, economics or equivalent experience
