Job Description

Overall Job Objective


Two full-time Nursing positions available with the Bulloch County Health Department located in Statesboro (Bulloch County), GA.

Job Responsibilities

Under general supervision, provides professional nursing care in accordance with nurse protocols.  Provides community health services in programs such as Women's Health, Child Health, Adult Health, etc. to the general public.  Assesses the client's condition, develops plans of care, provides treatments, educates clients and refers clients to agencies that can assist in meeting social and/or health needs.  Records pertinent observations and responses to treatment.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate's degree/diploma in nursing from an accredited college AND Completion of a PHN Course within one year of hire AND Current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certification.  
Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of a bachelor's degree in nursing. One year of experience as a registered professional nurse. Bilingual.
