Job Description:
- Collaborating with product managers, product owners, UI/UX and other functions;
- Contributing to technical strategy discussions;
- Implementing Sprint feature stories and unit tests ensuring high quality code and minimum feature test coverage is achieved;
- Responsible for translation of business requirements to development/test/release plan and delivering this solution on time to the customer;
- Participating and contributing to an effective software development lifecycle including a high focus on customer support and root cause analysis;
- Conducting testing based on knowledge of system architecture, interdependencies, and interactions;
- Estimating time and resources for software development and test efforts;
- Providing technical leadership and assistance to internal and external product development teams;
- Reporting on project progress on a weekly basis;
- Managing and tracking software defects and coordinating with development team for resolution;
- Diagnosing and debugging issues within the system or in downstream dependencies, working with other teams to resolve issues in a timely manner; and
- Being an advocate of quality-up-front and test driven/behavior driven development, supporting the team with the Definition of Ready and achieving our Definition of Done.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent* in Software Engineering or a related technical field and two (2) years of experience in software development. Experience must include:
- 2 years of experience understanding software architecture and system integration
- 2 years of experience with Object Oriented Programing languages
- 2 years experience with software verification, validation, and testing
- 1 year of experience mentoring junior developers
- Demonstrated knowledge** of agile methodology
- Demonstrated knowledge of CI/CD tools
- Demonstrated knowledge of version control systems (Git)
