POSITION OVERVIEW
PYA is a “Top 100” U.S. Accounting Firm by INSIDE Public Accounting and is growing! Our dynamic and entrepreneurial firm is seeking qualified professionals to join our growing team of public accountants. TheAudit & Assurance Manager in our Atlanta office will provide audit services to external clients and objective assurance about a company’s financial reporting. Additionally, this Manager may work on due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, operational reviews, and other financial-related consulting projects. The successful candidate will serve as a cohesive team member who consistently demonstrates high integrity and reliability within a professional environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Works collaboratively with other team members to strategically build and develop PYA’s Audit & Assurance Department within the Atlanta market.
• Actively direct and manage project engagements, including leading and/or contributing to the planning, management, and successful completion of accounting and auditing projects.
• Utilize knowledge of GAAP and GAAS to identify, improve, and resolve client issues.
• Assist in solving strategic issues requiring analysis skills to manage clients’ needs and expectations.
• Perform reviews of reports and presentations to ensure the highest quality.
• Develop and maintain business relationships with current and future clients and gain the confidence of top-level client personnel regarding the breadth of services offered by PYA.
• Support the development of new services and methodologies within PYA.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Master’s in Accounting preferred.
• CPA certification required.
• 5+ years audit experience with a public accounting firm preferred.
• Experience in healthcare and financial services industries preferred.
• Strong client relationship skills and strong accounting and analytical skills preferred.
• Detail oriented with excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Superb written and verbal communication skills.
• Client-oriented work ethic, delivering high quality results.
• Dedication to teamwork and leadership.
• Person of sound judgment, that can manage risks effectively and efficiently.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 30% required.
