Routematch is hiring a Materials and Fulfillment Specialist with at least two years of experience managing materials (hardware/devices with serial #s, part #s) to create and run our fulfillment, maintenance, and inventory management operations for the hardware we sell as part of our overall solution/system for clients. This will include all aspects of our hardware lifecycle as well as knowing and efficiently interacting with our suppliers, vendors, and OEM partners to order new parts and to assist in building and maintaining relationships.

As the Materials and Fulfillment Manager, you will spend most of your time:
  • Fully understanding our products and solutions and the third-party components and devices included with them
  • Managing the inventory and entire life cycle of items needed to be available for efficient supply and replacement
  • Creating and maintaining an inventory system (including a serial #s, RIN# (“Routematch Identification Number” an internal numbering system for our tracking), warranty status, specifications, delivery dates, compatible components, and other related information) of all deployed parts and pieces as well as stored parts and pieces
  • Creating and managing a shipping and receiving system to include RMA #s (Return Materials Authorization), trouble-shooting, device configuration; status of repairs, tracking of devices, technician assignments, warranty claims, delivery dates, and internal communications between all departments;
  • Maintaining a current price list for all parts, pieces, and devices to include RM costs and customer prices which maintains a standard of margin and competitiveness in the market
  • Researching and reviewing devices and components (in cooperation with Product Owners and others) to ensure state of the art parts are included in our solutions;
  • Providing information and training to sales, deployment, and support staff on all aspects of our hardware
  • Maintaining proper documentation on all part, devices, and pieces

Experience required to be successful in this role include:
  • Strong preference for a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related degree
  • 2+ years working in inventory management for a hardware and supply-intensive company such as Auto Zone, Grainger, Home Depot or other stores maintaining and supplying parts and devices for sale
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with internal and external folks
  • Mechanically minded to understand all the hardware and devices and how they work
  • Excellent attention to detail and planning to maintain systems, inventory and supply for upcoming projects
  • Desire to research and hunt for the best products and solutions at the best prices
  • Ability to work with vendors to negotiate pricing, delivery terms, etc.
