We are currently looking for curious and driven Account Executives with knowledge of technology and solid business-to-business sales and account management experience. You will be selling our product, Pardot. As an Account Executive within the Pardot team, your focus will be on Pardot lead generation tool, which empowers marketing and sales teams to work together to find and nurture leads, close more deals, and maximize return on investment.The Pardot Account Executive will formulate and execute a sales strategy within an assigned region, drive revenue growth by penetrating the current customer base, and develop new customers in the region. They will work in partnership with the existing Account owners and will carry quota for the Pardot product sales.
The AE Finserv role:
The Financial Services Enterprise Account Executive creates, identifies and closes sales for the Pardot within a specific geographical region or set of named accounts. Prior experience selling software into the Financial Services vertical is needed. As the individual who represents Pardot and drives the revenue, this person must be a self-starting closer who can create a large pipeline of business within a short period of time and work with existing clients as well as new logo opportunities.
We look for business athletes who are aggressive team players - hungry, nimble and intelligent - with the ability and willingness to close a mix of complex enterprise and more transactional deals.

- As part of our Enterprise Sales team you will be selling to our financial indusrtry accounts.
- You will build, share with an extended team and implement an account plan to deliver maximum revenue potential.
- Manage entire complex sales-cycles often presenting to C-level executives the value of our full suite of applications.
- Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement, while creating satisfied customers.
- Evangelize the salesforce vision through product demonstrations, in-market events, and account specific initiatives.
- Several year experience of solutions selling.
- A plus for Financial knowledge
- Ability to map out and strategically define account plans for top tier accounts managed.
- Ability to sell both an application and deployment of a platform.
- Effectively optimizes internal and external networks.
- Evidence of relationship building skills with an ability to grow and nurture relationships.
- Excellent at leveraging C-level and LOB relationships.
- Exhibits characteristics of self-starting, risk taking, and a drive to succeed.
- Must be proficient in both oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to negotiate complex deals.
- Very competitive compensation package with uncapped commission and employee stock purchase plan
- Ramp up schedule including training boot camp in San Francisco at hire and continuous sales and product training
