About Us:
CribMaster™, provides inventory control solutions through advanced software, innovative vending hardware, Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) and customer services to manufacturing, distribution, government and service industries for managing indirect inventory (tools, spare parts, MRO, etc). CribMaster ( ties fast and reliable tool crib or store room transactions to a powerful system of inventory control.  The system provides critical data to manage consumable and durable inventory, reduce the risk for lost or misplaced tools, and provide critical data to business leaders to reduce risk of tools being lost or left behind, reduce costs and increase productivity.

Essential Job Functions
  • Produce and maintain technical and user documentation for both software and hardware products including user manuals, setup guides, troubleshooting guides, regulatory compliance documents, manufacturing instructions (SOPs), best practices, etc.
  • Produce and maintain embedded and web hosted help files for our applications and software patch release notes.
  • Manage documentation repository
  • Manage documentation version control
  • Coordinate with Development, Product, Implementation, Support, Marketing, Quality Assurance, and Sales to capture technical specifications that are required for publication.
  • Involvement in developing product documentation with a complete picture of the software utilized.
  • Design the end work in an attractive and simple manner including the use of photographs, charts, diagrams, videos or how-to presentations.
  • Use state of the art technologies to produce World class materials on multiple media.
  • Observe production, development and support activities to determine the procedures and details of the activities to be documented.
  • Proof-read existing documents for technical accuracy, regulatory compliance and style sheet adherence.
  • Revise current documentation as information and configuration changes occur.
  • Capable of converting complex technical discussions into Standard Procedures
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Communications and 5 years business experience with a concentration in technical writing
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly
  • Write effectively for both highly-technical (engineers, system administrators) and non-technical (end-users) audiences.
  • Adapt to changing technical publication priorities
  • Must be detail-oriented and have a good command of the English language
  • Must be proficient in:
    • Microsoft Outlook
    • Microsoft Excel
    • Microsoft Word
    • Microsoft PowerPoint
    • Madcap Software
      • Flare
      • Capture
      • Contributor
  • Must have exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Proven to meet rigorous deadlines
  • Strong facilitation and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated individual with the desire to succeed and motivate others who can also thrive in a team environment.
  • Must be able to pass drug test and lifetime background check
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Retail, Manufacturing, Industrial, and Logistics industry experience
  • Graduate Degree / MBA or equivalent experience
  • Experience or understanding of International Organization for Standardization (ISO) procedures
