Job Description

Job Summary:

Under generalsupervision, provides professional assessment and developmental screening usingthe Ages and Stages Questionnaire for clients birth to five and enroll them inthe Children 1st program. Performs family needs assessment, provides community resourceinformation to families refers to other public health programs and assists withlinking families to resources as needed. Provides nutrition assessment andeducational counseling to clients. Provides medical nutrition therapy andcounseling services for clients in public health clinics as appropriate.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor'sdegree in dietetics, human nutrition, food and nutrition, nutrition education,food systems management or a closely related field from an accredited collegeor university from an Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics accredited programAND One year of experience as a dietitian/nutritionist AND registration as aDietitian by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics Commission on DieteticRegistration AND licensure as a Dietitian in the State of Georgia.

 

PreferredQualifications:

Bilingual – English and Spanish
