SS: Residential Manager/Client Support Worker

Duties & Responsibilities
The Residential Manager will supervise and train Houseparent/CNA staff on general resident activity to observe and report behavior/progress of consumers with behavioral health and/or substance abuse disabilities/ living in a residential group home. Supervise, monitor , and train staff how teach resident on daily living skills, cooking, cleaning, maintains accurate records of all activities. Assist with providing transportation for individuals to medical and/or dental appointments. Supervise and monitor housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, washing clothes and dishes, as well.
Supervise and monitor staff on Supervised Self Administration (SSA) of Medication procedure without errors, which includes independently reading and following directions of all medical information received via mail/e-mail and/or through RN instructions. Document and maintain accurate data, communication logs, medication administration records (MAR), and all other pertinent information required. Report changes in individual/consumer's condition to your supervisor. Successfully complete all scheduled training as required. Conduct group home staff meetings as assigned.

Other Duties & Responsibilities may include: Review accurate progress notes and services concerning the consumer to include all data and communication logs.
Occasion fill-in when staff call-out, which would require to assist with daily living activities in a residential facility. Observe/monitor individuals/consumers and document behavior and incidents as needed. Provide training of basic personal skills and social skill to consumers in group home. Occasionally, shop for clients and/or accompanying on shopping outing.
Reviewing and submitting groceries/supplies orders for meal preparation to ensure staff are meeting dietary needs of individuals, community activities, and provide transportation. Monitor staff for clients that need specialized care and advise and/or physically assist individuals/consumers with daily living skills in one-on-one instruction. Assist with counseling and advising individuals/consumer on behavioral problems, daily decision-making and the resolution of minor problems. Provide 24/7 oversight to staff and individual we serve.
Assist with development of individual service plan for each individual/consumer.
All applicants must provide a current seven (7) year Motor Vehicle Report and Georgia background check at time of interview.
Minimum Training & Experience: Three year experience providing social or direct care services to groups of behavioral health individuals in a human services setting OR Associate degree in a related field and One year experience Supervisory Experience. Note: Position requires a valid driver's license.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Three years experience providing social or direct care services to groups of special needs individuals in a human services setting OR Associate degree in a related field and two years of related experience OR Bachelor's degree in a related field and one year of related experience OR One year experience at the lower level or position equivalent
